​Cosmetology Program

To teach theory and practical in the above subjects those students will be able to demonstrate basic skill levels in practical areas by course completion.  To prepare students to sit for the State Board Exam when all requirements are met.  Each student must complete 1500 clock hours of instruction, each student is required to pass the pre-state written and practical examination with a score of 80%.  Upon satisfactory completion of all academic requirements, a diploma is awarded for graduation.

Manicure Program

West Michigan College of Barbering and Beauty seeks to provide the nail industry with nail technicians who are respected by their employees and their profession.  We make the commitment to our student to 1) Promote the art of nail technology as a proud and prosperous profession. 2) Counsel and encourage in a meaningful way.  3) Provide realistic exposure to the role of a nail technician.  4) Acquaint the students with the latest technical and creative information available.  Each Student is required to pass the pre-state written and practical examination with a minimum score of 80%.  Upon satisfactory completion of academic requirements, a diploma is awarded for graduation.

Instructor Program

It is the purpose of this institution to train its student teachers for the cosmetology teaching profession through practical, and theoretical and psychological application of applied basic knowledge and skills as well as to prepare each student teacher to pass the state board examination and to seek gainful employment upon graduation.  

Each student must complete 1000 hours of instruction.  Each student is required to pass the pre-state written and practical examination with a minimum of 80%.  Upon satisfactory completion of academic requirements, a diploma is awarded for graduation.
